What is this tool?
Teachoo is a free AI tutor — not an answer-dispensing chatbot, but a tutor that teaches you to solve the problem yourself. It’s built by the team behind iAsk.ai, the answer engine that has handled ~1 billion searches. Teachoo launched on Product Hunt on October 3, 2026.
In plain terms: type a question or upload a photo of your homework, and Teachoo walks you through it one step at a time — like a real teacher would. Its mantra: “Guided learning, not copied answers.”

Standout features
1. Guided, step-by-step learning
This is Teachoo’s core idea. Ask “solve x² − 5x + 6 = 0” and it won’t spit out the answer. First it’ll ask: “which two numbers multiply to 6 and add to −5?” You try an answer, get feedback, and work toward the solution in a conversation.
2. Snap your homework
Photograph a worksheet or whiteboard and Teachoo guides you through the exact problem on the page. For photo-based questions, this is genuinely impressive.

3. “Bigger hint” and “I’m Stuck”
Stuck? Tap “Bigger hint” for another nudge. Still lost? “I’m Stuck” gets the step explained. The difficulty stays in your control.
4. Live graphs and diagrams
Functions, charts and labelled pictures get drawn on the spot when a visual makes the concept click.
5. Every subject, every language
Math, science, writing, history, logic puzzles, coding — any subject, any grade, any difficulty. And the big one: ask in Hindi, Spanish or Arabic, and the whole lesson answers back in your language.

6. Flashcards + progress tracking
Flashcards with spaced repetition and a dashboard showing solved sessions, accuracy and streaks — so you can see the learning add up.
Pricing — what does free get you?
Per the makers’ Product Hunt launch post, Teachoo is free to use. The official site (teachoo.ai) doesn’t list any detailed paid plans or a pricing page yet — so for now, free it is.
Platforms
- Web (teachoo.ai) — runs right in the browser; no official announcement of dedicated mobile or desktop apps yet.
Who should (and shouldn’t) use it?
- School and college students: If you want to understand homework without cramming — this is made for you.
- Exam prep: Step-by-step practice plus flashcards — solid for revision.
- Competitive exams / coding learners: Logic puzzles and coding are covered too.
- Answer-only seekers: If you just want a copy-paste answer, Teachoo’s guided style will feel slow — it’s not for that.
Final verdict
Teachoo is an honest attempt at the “AI tutor” category — it doesn’t hand you shortcuts like ChatGPT; it tries to change how you learn. The iAsk.ai team’s track record (~1 billion searches) gives it credibility, Hindi support is a big plus for Indian students, and being free means there’s no risk in trying. Half a point off: the product is brand new and paid plans are unclear.
Our rating: 4.5/5. If you’re a student — try a math problem you forgot years ago on it. It’s free; you’ve got nothing to lose.
Note: This is a first-look review based on the official site (teachoo.ai) and the Product Hunt launch information. We’ll update it after hands-on testing.
